Jason Ruta goes Ziplining in Whistler, BC
Has the month of July gone by like a flash or is just me? I’m back in Toronto for a couple days before heading back out west!I really do love the west coast. Crazy about the Earthquake in LA… I’m so glad it wasn’t bigger than it was, but hard not to think about when or if the next one will be. In the news this morning – that horrible story out of Manitoba – the Grey Hound bus incident – so awful! At first I thought… is this for real? Shocking. My thoughts and prayers are with Tim McLean’s Family and Friends. This past weekend our whole team at E! was at the Pemberton Festival in BC. (A big three day music festival) Coldplay was amazing live – well worth it! The Tragically Hip - also really good… usually not my bag, but I enjoyed them. E!s done a great job of capturing our experience - so head over to eonline.com and look at all the videos and photos… plus E! News Weekend Friday (August 1) you can see our Pemberton Special, Don’t miss it! Here’s to a great month of August! Enjoy the summer!JR

I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. ~Gilda Radner

Happy New Year!
Look Cold? Well it’s not that bad! But It sure is Beautiful!
Ok, Now I need a vacation from my vacation! I’m just getting back from a couple of weeks away - part of that with my family. Winnipeg was, well… cold, but wonderful to be home for the holidays as always. People always ask me how cold it gets… It’s really not that bad… most of the time. This year was actually quite warm… under Winnipeg standards. I had a great holiday, ate way too much food, and have come home with what feels like 10 pounds heaver thanks to my Mom and my Aunt. They really are the best cooks in the world (sorry Rachael Ray) and my Niece’s first Christmas was a success. But why is it that babies are more fascinated by the boxes and paper the expensive gifts come in, than the gift itself? Next Year… A paper doll in a box!

Hello! And welcome to my new website and very first BLOG! What a year it’s been - and with just day’s left until the Holidays, I’m heading home to enjoy some much-needed time off with my family. The past 4 months have been so incredibly busy, but very rewarding and exciting! 2007 has been a really big year for me - I can’t wait to see what 2008 will bring, so until then… Wishing you and your family a great Holiday! Happy New Year!
